Anyone use a exterior duster or is that a sin?

Don’t recommend it.. you really don’t want to touch your paint. I would use a soap foam cannon, rinse it off, and gently dry (just run across, don’t press) with large soft absorptive micro fiber towel.
When dusting, even if the duster is very soft, the dust itself is abrasive and you are damaging the paint by moving he dust across the paint

Nope. Better off doing a proper wash as mentioned above.

After I wash my vehicle, I typically maintain it for a couple weeks to make it look amazing for that period. Quick detailers work well. I lately have been using a product called Adam's CS3. Probably my favorite so far. It's a detailer/Waterless wash. If you buy the spray, It's sort of a must to get this as well: Adam's Waterless Wash Microfiber Towel | Waterless Car Detailing Towel - Adam's Polishes
If it's been a couple hundred miles since you have maintained the paint since your last wash, then spray the CS3 liberally. But if you do this every day or every other day, you won't need as much product.
The idea is that so long as it's just dust, you're fine. You wan't to wipe the spray off gently with the towel to get all the dust off, then buff using a clean side or a second towel. I'd probably get the 4 pack for the towels. Or get the biggest pack. These things are F'ing amazing.
Each application should get a little easier because this is going to lightly ceramic coat the vehicle in the process. Should help with washing as well.

Rather futile where I live in rural AZ desert.
Other than infrequent rain, I occasionally go through the car wash when we go in to town dressed up.
All dirty by the time we get back home.
That's why I bought a 4runner.

I use Adams too and have for about 8 years. I'm in the middle of correcting my paint and using Adams advance ceramic coating. But as an FYI, get yout towels from The Rag Company instead of Adams. Its the same towels, often better selection and higher gsm count. They have regular sales and are much cheaper than Adams. Ive noticed over the years Adams is rebranding several garage items, sprayers, towels, etc and jacking the prices up. A little google search and you can find many of their items without the Adams logo for much cheaper!

I speculated about this Thanks for the heads up. Will order from Rag Company next time. Though I think I'm good on towels for a while.
