Apple iPhone 8/X and A11

I'm confused by that, they were telling us that the X was not the big seller that they've anticipated but at the same time they're selling all of them. Or is it more 7 and 8 sales that are picking up the slack?

This is REVENUE not sales. The X is the #1 iphone sold every quarter since introduction (Nov 2017). It has outsold the other iphones. IPhone X is selling very well...in fact, they are #1 phone sold in CHINA since Nov 2017...that alone is an impressive feat given X’s high price in a poor country...a country that usually buys their own phone (Huawei, Xiaomi, etc.).

Unfortunately, the “analysts” that pump out “fake news” regarding iPhone X bad sales are way out of touch with real sales data. So, “they” are wrong.

The TOTAL iPhone sales are slightly less than before but because the prices are higher than before, the revenue is higher. So, basically, they are selling a little less but making more profits because of the higher device prices (and Tim Cook’s obsession with hoarding resources/suppliers to keep cost low).

Remember, what Apple has done with iPhone X is truly astounding in an age of smartphone “fatigue” or “market saturation”...but apparently these terms ONLY apply to Android land (e.g. piss poor sales of Samsung S9...worst since 2012!).

It is still unbelievable that Apple has made more money on iPhone X/8 than they did with iPhone 6/6+...iPhone 6/6+ revenues, at the time, were said to be once in a lifetime thing...never to be repeated by any company. Until now.
