Auto height control fuse removal

I hope everyone will excuse me for posting this is in this thread. I guess it is something I will do today. Can you help a nice lady out. We need the truck tonight but are afraid of the suspension rising more, hence the rush on a need for a response.

If I remove the fuse to the Auto Height Control...What happens? My rear end seems elevated a little, my SUV is a 2004..

I would post in a separate thread, but the forum does not allow me to start a thread. I tried sifting through threads but not enough time. Thanks for the understanding.

This thread is very informative about fuse/relay removal for the Rear Air Suspension (RAS) system:

How To: Convert RAS to Coils

Start at Post # 52 and then there are some good pictures of fuse/relay locations in the following posts.

Basically removing the fuse/relay will stop the on-board compressor from running, and filling up your rear air bags (which cause the rear end to elevate).

I suspect you may have some issues with the height control sensors.
