2000 Toyota 4Runner SR5 3.4L 4WD 5-Speed Manual only 75k Original Miles!


I'm not associated with this at all and honestly I have dealt with this dealer before when my dad and I were looking for a suburban for him and the dealer was hard to get a hold of and we didn't have a good experience with him which led us to buy from someone else. But this dealer has a knack for finding low mileage and in overall very good shape 4runners(this is the 4th good example I've seen from him).

Is it just me or has that T4R had a hard 75000 mile life:wtf: At least around me that is no where near a $10,000 truck.

I was thinking the same thing.

My '97 Anthracite Metallic, SR5, V6, 4wd, 5-speed, E-locker, factory Oak leather, Moonroof, Larger optional wheels, tires, and brakes, has 125k miles. It looks a lot better than that 4Runner.
 
Ran a car fax - at least it checks out on there for the miles. Spent its whole life in NY however.

Odd thing, the 2nd owner took possession between 63 and 67K miles and the dealer took it back at 73K miles? Then at 75K, the dealer put it up for auction... and it seems to have ended up in Minnesota. Interesting...
 
Having bought mine in MN, I can say you do NOT want one from MN... the crap they use to deice the roads is horrible on our frames, mine looks like it was submerged in sea water for months.
 
If the rear cupholders are still intact totally worth the money.

Honestly I wouldn't pay that money for anything thats lived its life in rain and snow though.

This one isn't from MN, although it's from NY so not a big difference there. And I know everyone hates on MN deicing and how it ruins vehicles but frame care goes along way, it's just not a lot of people do it here. mine looks pretty good because I've put the time in to get rid of rust and then coat them with an epoxy mix.

Always check Carfax and Toyotas maintenance website to spot Odometer Fraud. It is far more common than people think with these 4Runners.
 
Miles aren't everything. I went to look at one with 84k listed for $7000. Previous owner was from New York, seller mentioned.

The undercarriage looked like mars

It was actually $12500, insane deal and not going to lie, felt too good to be true. 4wd, sport, v8, leather, upgraded wheel package. Seller was moving, needed it gone and was going to a commercial seller next day if it didnt move. Was listed at $13500.

Condition was 9/10, I want to say 10/10 but i know he will find something wrong. Only issue was its the boring silver.

On a side note we looked at a same year black sport with 90k miles and the dealer wanted $19999. It was dented all over and worn interior. Looked like the mileage was rolled back from its condition.
 
Looks like a really worn shift knob for only 75k miles! Mine has 270k miles and my shift knob looks about the same, maybe better.

Maybe that's why no pics of engine or anything under the rig?
