Bad vibrations and sputtering

Hi, my 91 lifted 4runner is vibrating like crazy at high speed or high rev. I just bought it as a project but i cant figure out were this is coming from.
Bad alignment, bad U-joints on the drive shaft, tire balancing? Anybody ever dealt with this?
and if its pushed for more than five min the engine starts to sputter.

Is it more front or rear?
Does it get better/worse in 4WD?
The vibes could be from a bad pinion angle due to the lift.
Could be u-joint, especially if there's a clunk too. Also, U-joints don't always seem bad when checked with the drive shaft bolted on.
