Baja Rack Roof Top Tent Mounting Options

Hi, does anyone know of a cheaper alternative to Baja rack cross bars? Just got a RTT and need a means of securely fastening to to rack. I have this Baja rack.

What tent and mounting hardware do you have? You should be able to mount most tents directly to that rack.

ARB Simpson III. My Baja rack isn’t the flat model, mine is basket style like the one in the link. So the tent can’t actually sit flat on the rack. Picking the tent up tonight but from the research I’ve done and the rack style I have, it will require cross bars.

Looking for more affordable mounting system. The Baja cross bars are way overpriced.

Check the width of the mounting rails that come with the tent, they’re probably long enough to span the rack from side to side. Typically you’ll have the option to mount the rails in either direction (front to back or aide to side,under the tent), but I’m not positive about the ARB.
