Brake opinions

Plan on replacing front brakes. Guessing on still on OEM 2007 limited setup.

Looking for opinions:

Go with a 5th gen setup?
Got with a tundra setup?

Plan on pads, rotors, and calipers. Likely got to SS braided lines as well. Have some pulsing on braking so I'm expecting a little warping on the rotors from an uneven wear. I plan on buying the parts before pulling wheels to limit downtime to minimums as I figure I'm due regardless.

i went with all autozone duralast gold parts. they are warrentied so when they freeze up in a year all you have to do it swap them out. they make some really nice all black, coated rotors. i drive like an idiot and they havent let me down yet.

I think my ideal setup would be 5th gen calipers and EBC Yellow pads. Not cheap though.

I had to replace my rear pads just the other day and ended up going with Wearever Platinums. They get the job done. I will say to stay away from the 'Silver' tier pads. They'll leave deposits on your rotors and cause horrible vibrations.

Whatever you end up doing, if you buy from Advance Auto, buy online for store pickup (or shipping) and use the code TRT30 (if it's over $50). It'll save you 30% on the entire order. AKA a massive chunk of change
