Brake pedal hard to push down

The nipple in the brake booster has a check valve in it. When it goes bad it will not let vacuum into the brake booster. Replace it and you will most likely be good to go. Happened to me A few years ago. It’s a easy fix.

Sorry for not following up, but it was the brake booster. Been braking fine for the past 8 years now Thanks all.
