Many years ago I got to see a bison up close and personal at a ranch. Even fed him some grass through the fence. Very impressive creatures! So huge, and his breathing almost sounded like the chuff of a locomotive.

Many years ago I got to see a bison up close and personal at a ranch. Even fed him some grass through the fence. Very impressive creatures! So huge, and his breathing almost sounded like the chuff of a locomotive.

Icame close to buying a mini ranch in WY and plan was to get a couple of Buffalos. Magfiicent animals. And yes, they may sound like a old locomotive; but they can charge like a race car!
