Buying two cars at once gives you more buying power. Try to get best prices through internet departments or by phone. If they won't give a price by phone due to policy, laugh and say that your competitor X Toyota gave me a good quote, so I will just go with them then. 90% of the time they will give you their pricing. Do this with a few dealers and price them off each other.

With the purchase of two, if you pay over invoice you are getting ripped off. Outside of a TRD Pro/ or a limited edition/rate model, you should always be able to get at or below invoice if you make the effort.

How would I determine invoice on these trucks?
 
OP, have you considered the tax implications of not buying something with a gross vehical weight rating of at least 6000 lb?

The Tacoma does not qualify, 4Runner on the other hand does.

I believe it does if it is 100% business use has a bed of 6' or longer and passengers are not carried.

Learned something new today... I didn't know about section 179 deduction for long beds.

I operated a few dealerships in the past. I will share some information and hope it helps with your purchase.

1. Take your time. Do not rush.
2. Involve 3-4 dealers to get best prices. Have a folder for each dealer and document everything. Price, color, equipment. Everything.
3. Delivery & Processing is profit. Do not pay. $960 for each auto.
4. Dealer fee is profit. Do not pay. $495 for each auto.
5. Autobahnd paint protector. If it is not already on vehicle you don't have to purchase. There are many on the market to choose from. I like Expel clear bra.
6. Warranties can be purchased at a discount later. You have until factory warranty expires to purchase. You may decide to trade or sell vehicle before factory warranty expires.
7. Invoice on 2018 4Runner ORP $36334
8. Not enough info on taco equipment

So I ended up with a White Taco Sport and a Magnetic Gray Metallic 4Runner ORP No KDSS or Sunroof (had them on the 2015, liked the KDSS but needed more headroom) for 74K combined, including Paint Protection Film, 5yr/125K warranty on the Taco and 7yr/125K on the 4Runner.

Picking them up later today, pics to follow!!
