Can a 63qt ARB fridge fit behind upright seats?

Looking at purchasing a fridge/freezer, likely ARB. I've seen plenty of people with a 50qt mounted in the back of their 4th gen, but haven't yet been able to figure out if the 63qt will fit nicely behind the second row-with them still useable.

Anyone here done it? Or failed at it?

It's 27.8" depth vs 33.3". It'll be tight, and if it does fit it'll limit the recline range of the rear seat. My 50 qt currently has 4.5" of space behind the rear. I could slide it back a hair, straighten the rear seat, and likely squeeze a 63 in. It'll likely make a headache of making any slider option work though.

The ARB fridges have two footprint sizes and two heights.

37: H 16.9” x W 15” x D 27.8”
50: H 20” x W 15” x D 27.8”
63: H 16.9” x W 17.7” x D 33.3”
82: H 20” x W 17.7” x D 33.3”

[Edit the second] Those depth measurements are somewhat flexible too as they're the extreme measurements, meaning the space it would need between two perpendicular walls. When sloped seats and curved hatch doors come into play there's a large fudge factor.

Thanks for your numbers. If you've got 4.5" and a smidge behind it that means it will be really tight. Still, if I can squeeze it in there, I think it's worth trying.

I've got a used one on offer to me for $450, and at that price I have a hard time saying no. I guess I'll make a cardboard cutout of it to be certain though.

How are you guys powering these Fridges? Is the power outlet in the rear of the 4th Gen enough to keep the fridge going? Or would you recommend getting a separate High Capacity Battery to run it?

Mine is running just fine off my rear outlet for now. Look into the always on mod for your 12v outlets, or just leave it off overnight-it still stays below 50 in my experience (I do have the insulating cover).

I am planning on a dual battery setup in the future, but for short trips this seems effective.
