so let me ask, Have you ever sold a car, a cell phone etc? Have you contacted the new owner months later to make sure everything is going good???
Let see who answers that but Ive noticed the OP refuses to answer my question lol..
BTW you you seem to forget this:
"im not picking sides in that thread, but the OP clearly states he installed them wrong. what do you expect?"
I've sold old, modded cars. I've always told the buyer they're AS IS and that it'd be a good idea to get an inspection by a 4x4 shop of their choice when buying a modded vehicle and I'm not going to promise that any of the lift components aren't going to grenade within a month.
I take care of my stuff but shit happens. I almost sold my 13 TE before overhauling my suspension lift and it looked OK but had blown CV axles, frozen LCAs, and blown shocks. Would I feel bad for the buyer if they had to replace it or if it failed?
No.
Did the component break when he was driving his blind, deaf grandmother to church on Sunday, or did it break when he was doing a BJ Baldwin impression? Would he honestly tell me? Would he want money from me from an "as is" sale that I'm in every right by most state laws to offer no warranty or presumed condition of the vehicle.
Interesting case.
Either way, I was happy when I pulled all the Toytec shit off my truck and replaced it with Icons.
