CBI is one of those companies that rarely if ever does group buys or sales. Best bet to get any deal is to go to one of their events they attend overland expo etc and sometimes they run free shipping if you buy at the event.

I phoned them about a week ago, and at that time the person I spoke to said they were "thinking about doing a black friday sale" It seemed to me (whether I am right on wrong) that they probably will be having a sale.
Not sure what you're thinking of buying but I know a lot of companies have sales on right now like Demello, and RCI. I have bought a few things from demello and only have positive things to say about them

I ordered my bumper from them about a month ago and was told they don't do group buys. I did research and the only GB I ever found from them was dated to 2011.
Recent expo they offered free shipping on their bumpers which is anywhere between $150-300 off. I'll be pissed if they have a black friday sale.

I spoke to them earlier this summer and they said the only sale they ever run through the year is a Black Friday sale. But it's not a guarantee.
I have found with most companies if you log on to their Facebook page and scroll down to last years Black Friday's sale its still listed and you can almost base that off of what to expect for the coming sales.

I want to say when I ordered my rear bumper, I called and talked to Nathan and he gave me a little discount for being a forum member. It wasn't much but anything is better than full price. Hopefully they do have something for this Black Friday.
I will say that their product is fantastic and their welds look like a robot did them. They are as good as my ARB. The bumper fit perfectly with no gap issues. They have really fixed the fitment issues that they initially had.
I wasn't satisfied with the lack of protection they put on it when shipped but Nathan took care of everything. Still a great product and worth the money.

Bought my rear bumper from cbi last year, I asked a week prior to their Black Friday sale if they were having one, Nathan advised me to place an order and when they released the sale to call back and he would discount the difference so icould get my order in quickly. Amazing company, product, and cs!

Ordered bumper on 10/14. Estimated shipping date 12/14.
Contacted CBI yesterday so see it was possible to still get the discount without having to cancel my order & re-order. This was my response email.
"Thanks for reaching out to us. Unfortunately the sale is only available to new orders we can not apply to previous orders sorry. If you cancel and re-order then you will loose your current spot in the Que to have your bumper built so we wouldn't recommend doing that. Sorry but let us know if you have any further questions."
I can't say I expected them to do it but it would of been a really nice gesture on their behalf. I guess you cannot win them all.
