Coco mats anyone have/had them?

Recently I made my mind up to try these coco mats out. I am kind of picky about my cars and strangely enough really picky about floor mats. These are pricy but they are also hand made in the USA! I was blown away at the video on their website of their factory and how these are manufactured.

Has anyone ever had a set? What did you think?
I ordered a set of black and grey ones. My interior is black with grey accents.
Lead time is 3-4 weeks.

I had them in a 1993 Range Rover and have the Sisal mats in my 1970 MGB. You are right - they are not cheap but they are well built as well as made in the USA. I like the Sisal as they look more polished. The coco mats tend to fray but they are supposed to do that.

Getting ready to order a set for my 1969 MGB GT. Cocomats.com is the only place to go for these.

+1 for the Sisal mats (with a rubber backing). I had them on my 1980 RX7 and my 1993 Miata, and they wore like iron. The Sisal is also much less coarse looking than the Coco (which looks like rope), and are easier to clean/vacuum.

One word of advice. Try to get them WITHOUT the rubber heel protector pads, because the sisal will outlast the rubber pads by a wide margin. The heel protector pads are really to keep carpet on normal floor mats from matting. Eventually the rubber will crack, breakup, or peel, leaving a big zig-zag of contact cement/hot glue on an otherwise perfect floor mat.

Did you just get two for the two front seats? After looking at these I'm kind of in love... would the be better/more durable than say the rubber husky liners?

I had a set in my 99 Miata and will also attest to the level of quality and durability of the mats. I'm considering ordering a set for my 17 Miata. The color did fade a bit over time in my 99 Miata, but I left the top down in the desert sun quite a bit. Not enough to prevent me from ordering another set. No heel marks in the cocomats like you get in carpet mats.

I actually just changed my order up. And have switched it to the furstil 6.6 material. Apparently it is very similar to the Sasil but even more durability . I will be getting black with grey starching. Coco mats called me this morning, on my order I reqiusested a 2nd row runner ( full side to side like my weather tech mat, but that won't be possible the floor must be flat, no hump.) so my order is front row and second row just like the original mats, 4 pieces.

Also the Cust service rep talked me out of the heel rubber, she said the mat is so durable it won't be needed with the furstil material!

Coco Mats are a different approach. I have Weather Tech rubber mats is 3 cars right now. Yes, they do protect but I am over the car interior looking dirty ALL the time. Once you use these types of mats they always look dirty. I have Coco mats, the original type in a sports car and the quality is very good. They make an all weather version as well. I ordered a sample (about a 3x5in sample they offer) and I am very impressed, these are very heavy duty. Plus they will not look dirty all the time, are easy to clean and I think look cool. With the exterior white paint and black and grey everything else, I like a pop of color with interiors.

The manufacturing method looks very interesting on the all weather version. First woven with rubber and threads then it looks like it is heated on the bottom and the weave melts together up to the top. 6mm thick. I have tried to separate the sample with no luck, should be super durable. Easy to clean. since the weave is completely sealed up. I think skipping the pad would be a very good idea on these as well.

Ran the coco mats in my Cayenne and loved them - very durable, nice looking, and factory looking fit. Might get a set for "Frosty" now that I get to thinking about it....
