Has anyone ever replaced the upper and lower control arm bushings on their 3rd gen? If so, how long did it take ?
Thanks

Took me all day monday to do the uppers when I replaced my control arms. Would have taken less if I had used the right tools at first. But yeah you need to press them out and the new ones in. I rented the tool from autozone. Definitely not fun, not something I would ever want to do again. I did it by myself, I recommend getting someone to help you.

I did mine recently. I took them to an auto machine shop for them to do. Well worth the extra expense.:boink:

Used energy suspension bushing kit. I just did the lowers, but the uppers look easy. It wasn't a big deal. melt the old stock rubber out and push the new one it. The kit was $30-$40 if i remember right. It does uppers and lowers.

People have said the poly bushing squeak and all that but i have not noticed any noises and it was the cheapest option
