Cruise Control Only Works When Wheel Turned

Any one else ever have this problem? My cc doesn't work at all with the steering wheel straight, only when turned about 15 degrees right or left of center. It's a 2011 that I've owned since it was new. Thanks for any help. Couldn't find any info. on search.

I just looked at the wiring plot and that's EXACTLY what it looks like the trouble is; a broken 'Spiral cable'... Good call!
