Hello all, I have finally bought my 4runner after much research provided within this forum. This past Saturday I bought my new to me 99' highlander with a TRD 1st gen SC and sitting on brand new BFG K02's(just over 100 miles). The truck currently has 151,000 miles one it and was owned by the same family since new. Originally some wife's grocery getter.

I am currently stationed out of Charleston, SC and will be moving to Bremerton, WA in September. Look forward to building my rig with the help and knowledge provide by the members on this forum. Also hope to meet some members and do some wheeln. Any suggestions/tips are welcome as I am new to the 4runner game.

Welcome!

You've got one of the most sought after 3rd gens there it looks like. 99 Highlander model (sat ~1" higher than the others), 4x4 with elocker, supercharged, and that interior appears to be perfect. Just throw some weather tech floor liners in there to replace those cheap universal ones and that will one of the cleanest interiors in a 3rd gen.

Yea I plan on getting some weathertechs or equivalent, but right now I am focusing on making sure it is ready to make a cross country trip. Gotta make sure it can hang with my wife's 5th gen. Once I get to Washington then the real work starts.
