Daystar Did Not Measure Up!!! Where can I get a real 2" spacer?

Bought 2" rear spacers for my 08 from Daystar but, when I got them they measured only 1.5." I called Daystar to discuss why they advertise 2" but only deliver 1.5" and they could care less. All the rep would say is that's all they have!!!! Sounds like a bit of false advertising or maybe deception???? Also, they didn't look like the picture in the add.

Anyway, I have not been able to locate an alternate source for just the rear only.

Anyone know where I can get a real 2" spacer???

Yes they advertise them as 2" but it is pretty well known on this board that they only provide 1.5". The front is advertised as 2.5" and provides 3" (old style). They (DS) consistently gives wrong info and that is bad business. But the look of a 3/1.5 is very nice. If you truly want a 2" rear, go CF but note that many report the rear end is quite harsh, ask Josh.

Any other suggestions???

Really surprised rear lift is so hard to find!!!

Although I hate to advertise for this person, since their service is horrible, go to Burtmanindustries.com and look up your year to find the Cornfed spacers. A 2" spacer is very harsh though, I say just stick with the 1.5" spacer, or get a real lift such as OME, Icon, Sway-Away, Toytec, etc.
 
I vote for using the Daystar and add some Airlift1000. The Daystar's look great. With the Airlift you can compensate for load and have the 'look' of an unloaded vehicle all of the time. Running the airlift at low pressure of 5-10psi rides great and it actually lifts .25-.50". Airlift doesn't really lift too much though. 1" is the most you could get but that's at 30psi and the ride is harsh etc. I know that's not quite the answer you were looking for but it's an idea that I'd consider:D

I never saw they advertised as 2" in rear , the only one I saw is a 2.5/1.5 , so you saying that yields 3.0/1.5 ?

Spaceman , either one is a real lift , just different strokes for different folks and their needs . Pro's and con's to everything . I just talked to Toytec yesterday and if you want that "real lift" like josh says they can put a kit together. I was asking the same thing. I told him I only wanted a 2/1 , and he even said spacers would be fine or he would customize one from springs and shocks for me . Nice people. I called to see about my options were with pulling the Xreas off , which I may just do. Josh can tell you everything about a lift . His truck I think has had one thing or another thing on it. He has good comparisons.

DAYSTAR , yes yet another misconception. There is one guy there I always get when calling and he is an ass and I think literally would not take the finger out of this nose to check something for you. I was even giving him part numbers that JA gave me and h just BS , no such thing.......... it's a shame really.

This is a very simple part. There is absolutely no excuse misrepresent it like they did.

Yes, I think we talked to the same guy. His name was Don McMillan.

I want a 2 to 2.5" lift. I plan to pop it in myself. I now plan to make the spacer out of a piece of 2x8 board.
 
All-Pro sells a 2" rear spacer...I am running it currently. I paid $50 for mine - well worth it.

And it rides NO different than stock.

This add shows the All-Pro's to be the same 1.5". They look exactly the same as what I got from Daystar.

At least these guys advertise them correctly (1.5") and at roughly ***1/3*** of the price that Daystar wants. Hard to believe Daystar would ask there customers to pay that much more for the same thing.

HMMM...I am 95% certain the ones I bought were advertised as 2" spacers...They were red though...

I did get a full 2", if not more, from them...perhaps call all-pro and ask them about it.

The Daystar add shows a red item but they did a switch & sent me a black item which was the 1.5". Maybe the red really was 2".
I ask them about why the switch but they would not discuss it.

The all-pro add now shows the same 1.5" black that i got.
