Hi there,
Does anyone know anything about a front Demello Offroad bumper for a 4th gen 4Runner that does not have bars attached? Here's a picture from another forum:

I suspect it's a tacoma bumper mounted on a 4Runner. If so anyone know if this can be done without any special modifications?

I am not sure what the differences are between the 4Runner mounts and Tacoma mounts but you can order the bumper without bars from DO

Demello initially offered their bumper when it first became available without hoops. I suspect you can still order it that way if you specify that is what you want. Personally, thats how I would order it, saves weight over the front end and looks awesome!

I agree, I would have one without hoops.

I emailed them through their site about 2 months ago asking for a quote on one without the bars and powdercoated silver semigloss and never got a reply.

So either they don't make that configuration or business is too good to reply to an inquiry.

Either way their bumper is the tits.

Same reason they lost my business to CBI Offroad! Which by the way uses 3/16" plate not 1/8".

You can order bumpers without hoops (flat tops) from every company. The grille and light guards are just added protection at an up-charge.

Yep, it is a shame too because Demello's bumper is great looking, and very light weight. I have learned from experience though that no response/slow response on the initial conversation just leads to more of the same through the process.

I might give them a ring and another shot but I am a bit hesitant at this point.

Edit: Just to update, I gave Demello a call and they were great on the phone, must just suck at email. Got a bumper with no bars ordered, powder coated black semigloss. should have it in 6 weeks.
