Diff lock light question (hear me out)

yeah i know, i know, i've read all the other threads about the RRDIFFLOCK problems, I had the problem, it wasn't locking, I FIXED IT, but the light flashes even though I KNOW the locker is engaged, is there a way to reset the light?

Try disconnecting the negative battery terminal.

If you know it is engaged or locked and it is still flashing. The sensor (plunger switch) on top of the diff housing is either disconnected or the sensor switch is bad.

The flashing light is telling you that a malfunction is happening. Your tell ing us that you can hear it engage and lock but the ecu doesn't know it is engaged, it is looking for the signal from the plunger switch tell ing it that it has been engaged.

No resetting for you! Must fix.
