I was reading on autoblog that Audi showcased the future TT interior. No gauges, but a large TFT display. This seems to be the future of luxury car (and eventually all cars).

I wish I was there........................ have fun!

CookieRoe is a full active display. So much win there. I was playing with it and all I can saw was wow. That's the future. As for the Ford and kia comment. I doubt it. It's laser lights that's not harmful to the eye. Has sensors to dim down for oncoming traffic, can light up two lanes of traffic and have 3x the distance of conventional hid lighting.

Having a blast but was let down when I walked into this place

Tv makes things just look so much cooler. Shop is just two long counters, and the rear of the store is a whole merchandising area. T shirts, bobble heads, etc.

I'm hopeful that the aftermarket will offer more electronic goodies for us who have "older tech" on their rigs. I love my OEM NAV, but quite honestly, it's extremely dated. Telematics seem to be all the rage, hopefully that will trickle down to the aftermarket NAV HUs. I'd like to see error codes, MPG displays, broader use or inter-connectivity with smartphones. Maybe I ask for too much.... hahaha.

As far as the Audi lights, I really doubt it will see the light of day. (excuse the pun). Mercedes has similar lighting technology that Europeans (will) get to enjoy, but the USDOT forbids anything that is more advanced than a candle with a reflector behind it for automotive lighting. (sarcasm).
