There's trails and camping areas at Uhwarrie. It's near Raleigh, 15bucks to wheel, free to camp. Can have open fires by the camp sites (which are alongside the trail).

If we plan something in Nov. I'll be down, otherwise...well, have fun!

I lived in Eastern NC for 2 and half years stationed @ Cherry Point... I don't miss it

I'm in Charlotte area now though. Ride Uwharrie with members here as often as we can.
