Engine bog, then stalling at stop signs, now engine won't start

Maybe. Cam Position Sensor can definitely cause spark issues. Even with new part, circuit can have issues. Crankshaft Position Sensor can, too. Look at this stuff:

You really need to tell us what year you have before you get a circuit diagram. Things change along the way. Where did you get your new sensor?

Since your rig is new to you, you may want to rule out any possibility of a loose crank bolt. This can lead to intermittent spark issues. Unlikely, but it can be disastrous if left to go too far. Check for any sign of wobbling on the main crank pulley.

Okay, I just checked and didn't see any sign of a loose crank bolt. My next check was on the crank position sensor. It was pretty gunky so I cleaned off the sensor part. I then checked for ohms in the sensor, and I'm not particularly sure which selector to hit on the multimeter, so I'll post what I got in each one.
2000k-002
200k -02.2
20k -2.23
2000-1
200 -1

The tolerances for the sensor according to the document that you sent was 1,630-2,740 ohms.
I'm not very proficient at reading a multimeter, but do those readings look right?

Thanks man, it helps a bit. I've been talking with a mechanic buddy of mine, so I'll just end up taking it to him sometime soon. It's a little out of my comfort zone.

fully understand...a 'no start' can be a nightmare... let us know what you find.! good luck with it.....

I had the same problem last summer. Upon replacing the maf I found the plug wire to cylinder 1, under the intake silencer was loose. Reconnected it and replaced maf and runs great.

I was getting around 14-15 mpg
Hesitation/misfire at idle but would drive fine or so it felt
Then gradually it started stalling at stop sign, or if I didn't shift into gear fast enough and gas it it would stall
Then would not restart
Check plug wires, im no mechanic but it's pretty obvious looking if the spark is arcing.

I'll check that, thanks man.

Well i got a call from my mechanic today and he did a more thorough check than i did, cause he found that the crank bolt WAS loose, and that the crankshaft got destroyed. So I'll be throwing in a new motor shortly lol.

Torque your bolts to spec, people. It helps.

bogging issue

Hey, I had a similar issue with the bogging down. It was my Throttle Control Sensor (TCS). Cheap and easy fix. Could also be your spark plugs or wires. Might also be your fuel pump. I have a '99 SR5. I'd check out that TCS. I had another hesitation and bogging issue and it happened that my tranny lines needed flushed. Hope that might help ya. cheers!
