First hunt w/ revamped 4runner

Well, hunting season is upon us, and I got to take my baby to hunting camp for Antelope........my ol lady came too!(ba-dum-pssshhhh).
Strong winds, 25-40mph, and lots of hills rendered us 12.9mpg. The new suspension was really great on the beat up, and wash boarded dirt roads. The ranchers driveway was awful, but the 4runner sucked it up like nothing!
The winds made the hunt a challenge, but I got mine, on the move at 250yds.
The lift on the 4runner made the tailgate the perfect height to butcher my Antelope.

Very nice! Always wanted to go after a speedgoat.

Your Runner looks like a great hunting rig, congrats. Mine is pretty much a dedicated hunting truck too. They really are the perfect size to store a bunch of equipment yet still be "nimble" in the field.

Nice. I've been out almost every weekend the last 2 months for deer and bear but no luck yet. Did find a Black Bear around 600-700 lbs that will hopfuly get stuffed in the back of my 4R next weekend. The crawling guys at work see my muddy 4r and ask where I went mudding. Always tell them aint mudding, just hunting.
