First off road trip in the 4Runner

So finally got a chance to play around in my 2017 TRD Off Road after the bilstein 5100 upgrade and new wheels tires. Was curious to see how it would perform in some pretty muddy conditions here in N. Georgia. Took her up Nimblewill Gap Road and back down Old Bucktown Road and it was awesome! No clearance issues and never even needed 4wd. Lots of fun with the kids too!

The real test and love of your 4 runner will come when u absolutely need 4wd and rear diff lock and atrac all working to get you up and over the obstacles. It is a very capable 4wd and being able to climb some serious rocky terrain or deep mud holes will impress you to no end especially if you make it home with no serious damage to a beautiful vehicle.

Agreed. I basically bought a 4Runner so my wife won't stress when we're camping out in the middle of some BLM land out west, miles away from civilization! Gonna slowly put it through its paces on my own so I know what it can and can't do.
