First Time Wiring Light Bar Dual Amber/White to Voswitch - Help? *SOLVED*

Hello all,

Tomorrow I will be wiring up an "EXTREMELED X6S SLIM AMBER/WHITE" light bar. I have never wired anything like this before, though I do have some knowledge in wiring/electric.

I'm asking for some quick help before I begin tomorrow to hopefully make this go a lot smoother.

For starts - i'm wiring it up using the "UV100 Voswitch 8 Gang Switch".

So, here is the wiring diagram they gave me.

My question is, since i'm using the Voswitch with 40Amp relays built into it, do I simply just need to cut the wiring harness from the light bar short to right behind the relays? I noticed it has a "remote receiver" further down the line which I don't think applies to me, it is just a male and female plug that's connected. If I cut it behind the relay will I lose my ability to use one or the other color (just amber/both amber and white)? And if so, is there any way to wire it to keep the ability to run both?

Quick Idea: The wires from the light bar to the relay are a RED(positive) BLUE(positive) and yellow(negative). Could I simply cut behind the relays, and extend these three wires to my Voswitch? Since the Voswitch does not have grounds, I would have to run the yellow (negative) to the body for ground, then could I simply run the red to one switch on the Voswitch and the blue to another switch on the Voswitch?

Damn no reply from you guys. I went ahead and just used my best judgement anyways.

If anyone is using the Voswitch UV100, I can confirm this is how to make an Amber/White light combo light bar work.

The wires from the light bar to the relay are a RED(positive) BLUE(positive) and yellow(negative). Simply cut behind the relays, and extend these three wires to your Voswitch. Since the Voswitch does not have grounds, run the yellow (negative) to the body for ground, then run the red to one switch on the Voswitch and the blue to another switch on the Voswitch. You will now have 2 of your 8 switches used on your Voswitch. One will control amber floods, and the other will control your white spotlights.

I ran the wire (3GA w/ 3ea 14GA wires inside) down beside the windshield, then pushed the grey deflector that runs across the windshield/hood (that blocks debris) down and was able to get a snug fit of the wire though. This caused the wire to be slightly taught so it won't move around.

Hey, sorry you didn't get any help, but your efforts are appreciated. I'm thinking of going with this setup for my amber/white setup as well.

Hey Bryan, one question... did you just wire the Voswitch directly to your battery and light bar or did you need to buy additional items to get this wired (60A breaker, fuse block, bus bar, mounting shelf, etc.)?
