Fix a minor slider rust issue

Just hoping to get some tips on the best way to curb what's taking place here.

Haven't investigated much further, as I just noticed it, but I'd like to cut the shit before it gets worse.

Thanks

That looks like porosity in the weld, then the paint chipped a bit exposing it.
Like he said^^ just touch it up with some spray paint and carry on. If you plan to wheel your truck that little guy will be the least of your worries

It will take a long time for that to degrade the integrity of your armor.

you can sand it, fill with epoxy, sand primer, paint if it drives you mad

Touch it up. No problem.

Here's what my sliders looked like after 2 winters. I sandblasted them and repainted and everything is good.

Thanks everyone.

Glad it's a pretty easy fix.

First time dealing with this kind of thing, want to make sure I nip it in the bud.
