Fixing Photo-Bucket's "Third party hosting" Ransomware!

Hi Team,

I've mentioned this subject before, but I wanna make sure that everyone here who has been (or plans to be) active in posting their MODs here and using 'Photo-bucket' to upload your photos knows that 'YOU DO NOT' need to pay photo-bucket $400 bucks per year to use your own photos to do just that!

That's a RIDICULOUS and arbitrary figure (IMHO) to charge; kinda like paying ransom to use your own snapshots... that's criminal! I found plenty of apps that will download for free onto your computer and regain your prized photos that really work and simple to operate, "see link below":

I may be posting another link soon for those of you who's photoBucket accounts were closed by Photobucket so you can still gain access (Hack) to your property!

Thanks for the PSA. Back when this first happened I tried a couple extensions that worked for a while then Photobucket or something prevented them from working a few days after they were released. I hope this new one lasts longer.

As promised...

There are quite a few you-tube videos addressing this PHOTOBUCKET internet crisis; seems that it's gone viral as the folks that have many of their precious pictures on forums much like this one are partitioning the social media sites to take them to court on their method of trying to hold their photos hostage for money... aside from losing more than half of their loyal clients as a result!

Fvck photobucket and the horse they rode in on. I'm done with them. It took an entire weekend but I transferred all my photos to Smugmug and rebuilt some of the threads on various forums. So far I really like Smugmug. It's easy to use no matter what device or PC I'm using. It even works at my job on my company computer, which PB or imgur wouldn't.

I have no problem moving on to use other photo-processing websites. But my first and foremost objective is to recover the hundreds of threads that were destroyed on this website home from it's members; I mean when photobucket removed all of the photos from my threads alone, I didn't know where to start to repair the threads...

I couldn't even remember exactly which pictures that were used in most of my posts, and I worked hard on choosing just the right photo angles when taking these snapshots! I guess I'll shop around and find another website to store my photos on 'before' I remove them from PB!
