If I ever got lost, got real stuck, or had a mechanical break down I would sure want as many day light hours as possible. How about arrive at 8:30. Say "hi!", gas up, and be pulling out of the parking lot no later than 9am?

FWIW It has also been helpful on past rides that most if not all of us had cb radios so the guy in front can stay in touch with the guy in back as well as anyone in the middle being able to chime in as necessary. Handhelds are real real cheap on amazon for those who do not have one already. We are using this until I can mount my more permanent solution - Amazon.com: Midland 75-822 40 Channel CB-Way Radio: Electronics

Occasionally we use a magnetic mount roof top antenna but it seems to offer little improvement.

Before you start getting others involved perhaps we should finalize a meet place and time but ABSOLUTELY would be cool to have some more Toyotas.

yeah, more interest generated would give us a better idea of where the best meeting place would be too though. how many people do you have confirming they'll go?
