I was going through mine and my mom's handbags today (she has been nagging me to organize them for a while now) and I never realized how many handbags we had...

Burberry - 10
Christian Dior - 4
Coach - 5
Fendi - 2
Gucci - 7
Kate Spade - 3
Marc Jacobs Collection - 3
Louis Vuitton - 18
Prada - 7
Versace - 6

and there are a few more assorted ones haha! Its actually kind of sad, do we really need this many?

What about your wifes/sisters/girlfriends. There seems to be such a handbag craze going on lately, so many young girls are toting designer bags.

BTW, you realize that if you sold all those handbags, then you will have enough money to buy another 4runner!

My GF has a LV handbag...but it's always in storage for safekeeping...so, i don't really get the point of it. She uses Hugo Boss and Ann Taylor for daily activities.

Thats something I never understood(maybe why I'm single??). I carry one wallet. Its not even a "Castanza" wallet, just something that holds ID/Credit Cards/Cash.

Some advice from someone who's been married a fairly long time (20 years) -- don't try to understand.

I'll admit to using 2 wallets -- one for when I'm home that can carry all the credit cards, AAA card, etc. The second is for travel -- has just enough space for the credit cards needed on the road plus cash. It's thinner and lighter than the one used at home.

Yeah, I don't even know what else to say. That sums it up pretty good. I felt my wallet get lighter just reading through that list !

a nice tan and white Ghurka bag.

But of course, I have 22 fishing rods and matching reels....

Boots: Tony Lama, Luchesse, Chippewa, Larry Mahon, got 'em in elk skin, lizard skin, kangaroo skin, bullhide, now I am drooling for a pair of black Nacona stingray skin....

----so who am I to talk....

aye... my GF is a total luxury snob too, although she doesn't have the amount you and your mother have.

for me, i spend hundreds monthly on music, whether it's CDs or vinyl. all said, i have about a $50k insurance policy on my records alone. it's absurd and i get grief for it constantly by my GF. :bash:

however, i do have some lux goods: Burberry umbrella, Coach, Gucci + Fendi wallets and Gucci flip flop/ sandals type things which were totally expensive and totally impractical, but i like them.

my whole thing w/ a lot of luxury hand bags is this: it's incredibly easy to get really well made knock offs on Canal St in NYC. any lady i see around here wearing a LV, i automatically assume it's fake.

I love my luxury goods. although, i dont' have as many wallets as i have handbags. i have a few wallets from LV, Coach, Burberry, Prada, Versace and Gucci. thats about it though. a lot of the luxury goods are impractical when compared to its average product. but whatever, same as cars, we don't all need to drive $40K cars but we do.

dont' get me started on knock-offs. how tacky! thats why i don't use my "classic" LV monogram canvas designs as much, since thats SO common with the knock-offs

i meant to say the Gucci flip flops things i have were way impratical. the wallets and umbrella are all awesome and have held up really well.

i remember when i was in DC for school, my GF and i once went to georgetown to shop. there were a ton of dudes who sold nothing but fake rolex's and handbags. when the white LV bags had come out, i believe there was a waiting list for them as well as a $4k price tag. the street vendors were selling the knock-offs (which looked like sh

The Murakami (white monogram bags) are still pricey because of the manufacturing process. each color is dyed separate. and yes, i know what you mean when you say the luxury goods stand up well. some of our LV bags are over are 10 years old and still look great.

I just let the stamps and visas speak for themselves. But going back to look at them is interesting. Also have the yellow WHO vaccination card to help remind you, too.
