...thought I would pass this on. If you want to help put money away for their college by buying stuff for your Toyota, or anything for that matter, I recommend UPromise.com (membership is free). When I ordered spark plugs and a few other things from AdvanceAutoParts.com last week, I did it via UPromise.com. This resulted in a $4.80 rebate deposited into my kids' college fund. When I've ordered from JC Whitney, AutoPartsWarehouse.com, Sears.com, camera stuff from Adorama.com, etc...same thing.
Of course, I only do this if UPromise affiliates are providing the best price. Many times Amazon wins out, and Amazon isn't an affiliate.

Been a member for about 6 years and have earned almost $1,300 in rebates (probably only enough to pay for 2 semesters of textbooks). We also have the grandparents tied into our account so their purchases contribute. Every time our rebate balance hits $100, UPromise transfers the money to our 529 college investment plan.
Anyway, thought I'd pass on some justification for making those accessory purchases: just tell your wife you're contributing to the kids' college fund.
