Front diff mount bushing and Rear UCA bushing PN?

the rear upper control arm has no serviceable parts. although I suspect the 2nd gen poly rear link kit will work, dont know anyone who has tried it yet, but the 2nd gen lower links look to take the same bushings as ours. and i believe the tops would press in as well. wouldnt recommend trying it though as they might not work.

Thanks for the info. I talked with the dealership, and they confirmed the rear upper control arm bushings are not replaceable.
They also said they do not have a part number for the front diff mount bracket bushings, and that I have to buy the entire brackets. Is this really true? Ugh!

Has anyone ever tried 2nd gen Rear Control Arms (Upper and Lower) on a 3rd gen? I would love to do a all Poly bushings on my rig, but dont know if the 2nd Gen Rear Control arm bushings work on our 3rd Gen rigs.

I know this is an old thread but I'm wondering if you ever found the part numbers for the diff mount bushings? Did you end up having to buy the whole bracket? I'm looking to replace the bushing and bottom most washer/spacer.

New 4Runner (to me) rotted lower stopper
Im having the same problem with mine. So I ordered a new stopper (thanks to HiLife's post) but I'm curious why it's rotted. There's oil and gunk covering the whole assembly (LH-drivers side) so I'm guessing the last guy didn't clean up too well after changing the oil filter but would that rot the stopper? There's not any fluid inside of the cushion mount assembly is there? Just want to know what I'm getting into before I change it out. Thanks for all the info so far!!

Oil will definitely rot the rubber. Happens with suspension bushings all the time too. It was either engine oil leaks, oil filling spills or oil filter removal spills that get oil in that location.
Those mounts are simple rubber mounts, no fluid to leak out or anything.

Lower stopper replacement walkthrough?

Now i'm having trouble locating a walkthrough on replacing the front mounting cushion lower stopper. I've got the Chilton 1997-00 repair manual so i know torques spec but I'm guessing i'll need to somehow take weight off of the LH mount before hand?
Anyone who's done this before have any pointers for a rookie mechanic?
I'm really not 100% sure what this thing even does i just know that its rotted and cheap to replace so i'm hoping its just as uncomplicated as it looks.

It’s been a while since I’ve replaced those bushings/cushion but I’m pretty sure I did it with the the tires on the ground. Remove the front skid plate and you’ll see 2 19mm long bolts going through those bushings vertically (1 on the drivers & 1 on the passengers side) you’ll need a another closed end wrench (preferably one with a flex head) on the nut so the bolt doesn’t spin. When you get ready to remove the nut be careful it doesn’t fall into one of the holes in the front cross member but you’ll be able to fish it out if it happens. The torque spec was 100 ft/lbs.
Ok thats good news. So you don't think i need to put a jack under the diff or anything to take the weight off that front LH mount?

Correct, I did not use a jack to support the differential. Once you have the long bolt removed, gently pulldown on the the diff carrier support and remove the old rubber stopper/bushing.
