My 90 is making a grinding noise from the front drivers side wheel when its in 2wd, but if i put it in 4wd then its fine. I just don't want to drive around in 4wd all the time. Sometimes its OK in 2wd until i hit a bump then it starts. My first thought was a wheel bearing, but I'v also seen someone with the same problem and they told them it might be the dust shield touching the rotor? Anybody have any insight into this? The trucks at my parent's house 30 min away and I haven't had time to look at it yet but I plan to this weekend. I'd just like to maybe know what I'm looking for before i tear into it.
