Thanks all!

My next step is to swing it by Toyota to check out if all recall work was done and try to contact PO to see what maintenance has.hasn't been done.

If the dealer did timing belt I'm hoping there will be a record.

Well, no outstanding recalls and to 90K svc was done, fast approaching the 180K svc. Quote was about $650.00.

I am pleased, I think she is a keeper.

Next steps are going to be remove running boards, and get some tires to last until I lift it.

Love all the info in this forum, thanks again!

Thanks for the Rustoleum tip, was planning something similar.

I'm actually going to just do a set of 265/75's for tires until I decide what I need in a lift. I haven't picked a brand yet, still researching.

I'm going to get the exhaust redone, new tires, roof rack, and 180K mile service and go through everything with a fine tooth comb before I lift it. Want to wheel it a bit first.

Next steps are:

1) New muffler 24" Magnaflow.
2) Undercarriage clean & paint.
3) New tires 265/75/16's
4) Need key lock/unlock fob and factory cut keys.
5) Shifter indicator bulb replacement w/ LED.

I gotta get it lined out before I can start lifting it. Loving the 4runner.:guitar3:
