Got Cali Raised sliders, flat with no kick-out? Please help.

Hi folks. I’m in the market for some sliders for my ‘22 ORP with KDSS. My preference is a flat slider with no kick-out. I’ve narrowed it down to Cali Raised or RSG. I think both companies offer great products.

My knees aren’t what they used to be, and I will be particularly relying on the slider’s functionality as a step. I know the RSG protrudes from the sill about 4 inches. I would like to know how much the Cali Raised slider protrudes.

So if this post catches the eye of any of you who happen to have CaliRaised flat no-kick sliders on your truck and wouldn’t mind taking a measurement and passing it along, it would be appreciated. (I emailed CaliRaised but they couldn’t tell me.)

I’m attaching a photo for reference. I’m not asking you to post a photo. Just a measurement is fine.

I have the Cali Raised. It sticks out 3" with full clearance but there's enough space between the slider and the bottom of the body to easily fit a boot in and use all 6". I step on it with both feet all the time to access the roof with no issue. Let me know if you'd like a pic to illustrate.

Thanks for your reply. A photo would be great, thanks. If you could take a picture with boots on the slider as if you are accessing the roof that would be ideal. The RSG sliders have 4 inches, but they are significantly more expensive and require cutting of the KDSS skid plate. Plus, they have oval holes in the tread plate, and I prefer the round holes on the CaliRaised

A wider shot of the slider on your truck would be nice to see too, if it’s not too much trouble.

I'm at work and don't have a tape measure on me, but I have a size 12 shoe and use mine as a step all the time. Mine are angled with kickout though.

I couldn’t find any pictures for flat with no kickout either before my purchase. It’s around a 3-3.5 in step. If you need more of a step I would go with the rsg. I havnt seen them in person but looking at picture of the flat with no kickout on their website it looks a lot wider.

Thanks everyone for the replies, and special thanks to EDC4rnr for the awesome comparison shots. They clenched it for me. I’m going with the RSG. I like that the tread is a little deeper, but what really did it is that the RSG step is full length.
