thanks I did see that when I was doing a search. I wish there were actual pictures of the actual rack by itself. I'm not sure if I want to use my crappy stock rack as the base either. I'd have to pull it off and paint it to or it will make the new rack look bad.

FWIW here's a picture of my roof without anything on the rack.

I kept my smaller stock bars that run on the roof, and got rid of the bigger ones. The only thing you actually need to mount it are the stock rails. Everything else could come off as the rack has it's own mounting feet that bolt into the stock rail.

Hopefully this helps you get a better idea!
