Help me decide on a good buying price for an FJ

I'm looking at this FJ to buy, and I'd like you guys to help me decide on a good buying price.

Here are the specs

2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser
4WD
55,000 Miles

The following mods were done to the FJ:
- 3” Rough Country lift (Rough Country) = $300 + installation
- 17” American Racing ATX Wheels (Wheels) including the spare = $1000
- Nitto Terra Grappler Tires 295/70/17 (Tires) including the spare = $1565
- Warrior Products front bumper (Warrior Products) = $800 + installation
- Black Painted Roof (just something a little different)

What would be a good offer price?

Apparently, the front part of the frame was strengthened in 2010 (with the intro of 5th gen 4runner).

Beyond that, i don't like to buy 4x4 trucks that are already modded. Why? It is likely that the previous owner took it off-road. Now, if he was gentle with it, then good...but how do you REALLY know? In addition, as you can read the thread linked, the body rips occur with off-road vehicles. And then you add in there 55k miles.

Sorry, there is no way i would offer any of my hard-earned cash for a vehicle like that. Now, if that vehicle belonged to someone you know/trust, then that's OK. Otherwise, no thanks.

No more than 3% over KBB. Excluding gold plating an auto, one can hardly expect to recoup the $$$ into modding when selling it.

I do agree with you that it does look nice. But I am more Da Vinci, where as I like my auto bare in order to mold them to my own likings.

I just sold my FJ yesterday. It had a 3" OME lift, stock rims and tires, same miles. I let it go to my brother for 20k. I would guess somewhere around there is a fair price.
