Whipsaw 2011 Solo trip with 2006 4runner Ltd - YouTube
What a TRIP!! My cous and I camped at the 14.5 km marker after some crazy detours trying to find the right entrance for the real whipsaw trail!! Arrived at the hairpin around 7pm Friday and finally started setting up camp around 9!! They need better markers and directions for people. Saturday morning we started the trail at 10:30 and came out in Coalmont around 5pm. Decided not to camp at the lake near the end of the trail so I drove to Davis Lake the back way through Tulameen. Camped there last night and left for hm around 1pm today. What a day! My faithful Yota and us two Whipsaw 4 wheeling rookies made it through unscathed, never stuck and never needing help. Met up with some old land rovers, a FJ, some old Chev's playing around about 30 minutes from the (quad sz) bridge and the trial to the right of it. Going again next year with a bunch of Yota's in July it looks like.
