How to properly align offroad lights?

I just mounted the Jaos Prograte offroad lights on my Center Protector and can't figure out the correct way to properly align the lights so they can illuminate the most area and not blind incoming traffic. Is there a specific distance or angle that these lights should be at? Thanks for input. BTW Big thanks to Jason Burtman for getting these awesome lights, they look like freaking HID, so bright and with the purple lens they look fantastic!

Glad you like the lights.

I don't really have a special way to align the lights, I usually just park my car in front of a garage with the garage door closed and turn on both of the headlights on low beam and the jaos fog lights then adjust the fog lights to be slightly lower than your lowbeam and with similar width like the headlights.

Yeah what Jason said. My Hella lights said to be about 20-25' from a wall when you make the adjustment.

Anyway, for those of you who have Jaos offroad lights and want to protect their investment I found that the PIAA lamp lock fits the Jaos lamps so you can use it to lock your lamps!

I'm aligning my lights on the empty parking lot after they switch the lights off based on my headlights. So far never had any issues with passing inspection + never had any issues with lighting up the road. This method works for me for 15 years.
