well you laugh till you see one of their motors, i have one of their 22re's (2.6l pro stroker) in my 85 pick up, it gets 20-25mpg on 33s and i can burn the tires for days, it has power to spare, will run circles around a 4.3l v6. and is totally dependable its worth every penny of $5k i paid for it, and their customer service is top notch. you wont find a better tuned, more reliable motor that will work with your stock ECU anywhere. take that motor and slap one of TRDs SCs on there and can get 300hp easy and it will still be a reliable motor.
i plan on buying that motor on my next deployment and running a SC on it, along with the 2.2 pulley and URD 7th injector ect.

that said i wanna see you run this, i'm already saving up for a new heart donor for my runner when this one finally goes and this looks to be the dogs bullocks and if it is i know where my money is going!

probably the same place it was on last deployment... in a barn/shop out in eastern oregon... i have been eyeing that motor sense they came out with it. i think the old 3.4 will either go in to an FJ40 or my other 85 pickup, not sure yet. but i know its still got plenty of life left in it

I spoke with LCE a while back, not willing or able to give up the 12k but got some interesting information. I told them I wanted stone cold reliabilty but 250-300hp. They told me that by going with a master rebuild, their Heads and a mild cam I can get 250h easily and still pass smog. They told me that if I added the SC and flashed the ECU to the earlier mentioned mods I would be closer to 350hp without even making the motor work or jeopardizing reliability. That prostreet long block they set up for some of their racers in the 500-700hp range and have with a long list of other mods over 1200hp. I actually remember seeing a truck with one of their 22RE's in it with a host of mods Dyno 750hp. That being said in the past few years they have become very proud of their products and their pricing reflects that pride.
