IG scammer preying on 3rd Gen folks.

I'm reluctant to post this here and waste space because it isn't related to T4R.org, but might affect some of our users. I shouldn't have to remind folks not to try to buy from these scammers. This guy is a classic 'Post pics of things for sale that you don't own, take payment (Apple Cash, CashApp) and never ship product. Meta/IG doesn't care unless notified and the cash apps do not offer buyer protection. The only recourse (other than hiring an IG account hacker on the dark web for about $100) is to report them within the IG app. If any folks here want to lend a hand, we can get his account suspended/closed. Dude has over 9,000 followers and a lot of legit pages I follow also follow him and some of them may be t4r.org members. After a run-in with an acquaintance yesterday, he changed his picture from 4Runner with the 3 stripes to a family in a sunflower field LOL. If you are already on IG frequently with a moment to spare, please give this guy a slap for us. He deletes all comments that aren't "How much?" - all we can do is Report as Scam/Fraud and wait for IG to investigate. The more unique reporters, the better. Thank you.

Any of those "tacoma 4runner tundra spare parts" pages are all scams, there's probably dozens, if not hundreds of them.

There are a whole lot of these scammers, for all sorts of makes. Try doing a reverse image search on the pics, you'll often see they're from older ads.

And don't pay with Venmo or PayPal friends and family or any other method that doesn't offer fraud protection. And get a current picture of whatever it is you're buying, with a handwritten note of something you specify in the pic.

Odds are the scammer will have plenty of excuses why they can't do something very simple a real seller could do.
