Yes, the DO bumper is pretty straight forward. I think there was a little trimming i had to do of the fender liner and some other little plastic pieces that needed to be removed. I am pretty sure everything was covered in their directions. I have been very pleased with mine.

I have another question for you regarding the Demello bumper. Did you choose their Baja Design fog lights when ordering yours or did you buy lights somewhere else?
I purchased the Demello flat top bumper today without their add on lights and want to shop around for some that would be cheaper than $225.00. Do you know what size fog light will fit into the opening? I want to find a fog light pair that includes wiring harnesses that will connect to my pre-existing fog light wiring. Thanks for any help and recommendations.

At the time I ordered mine they were offering the ACRO lights. I like the BD lights but wanted something a little cheaper as well. I ended up going with a pair of PIAA 5370 Black LED Fog Lamps. I just spliced them right into the stock foglight wires so they are like stock. They fill the spaces perfect.

For what it’s worth, battle born Offroad is having a sale on BD stuff right now. I got a pretty good quote (less than $225) for a pair of squadron sports in amber wide cornering. Might be worth looking in to if you like the style. I run those (squadron sports) as fogs and they’re awesome. Also spliced right in to my factory fog wiring with a weather pak connector. Go over to the group buy section, the sale is under something like ditch light bracket and light combo but the sale is for all of BD stuff.

It is amazing how capable a 2WD 4th gen. Mine has taken me everywhere I have cared to go. We haven't had a car payment since 2005, which has been very nice. I had considered selling it and finding a 4WD but having twins and all the expenses that go along with them it just wasn't in the cards. I decided to just make the best of what I have. At some point I might have 4WD added but it isn't a high priority. Seeing how I just turned 200k, it is just starting to break in.

Right, I’ve been following Morris’s build for at least a few years and never realized it was 2WD. It serves his needs well, his build thread has plenty of adventure photos!
