Is DAC back-lit?

I've been working a lot under the center console and behind the dash console the last few days. I noticed late last night that there was no light lit behind the down-hill assist control switch next to the seat heater controls. The heater controls are lit up, but not DAC. For the life of me, I can't remember if DAC ever had a light behind it or not since I've only ever needed to use during the day, and rarely at that.

Just wondering if I may have not knocked something loose or killed a bulb playing around under there...

Pull the switch out and look at the side should be a bulb there.

Mine is in the center console also just need to find LEDs that fit it

Is the bulb a 3mm 4mm or 5mm bulbs is my question i should say

If anyone knows a link for the led bulbs that fit by all means post it

It would have been far easier to just say 3 4 or 5 rather then taking the time to actually copy a well know google link. But thanks for being no help to anyone.

my well known google link even stated "neo3"!!

I was helpful to everyone reading this post and shared exactly what bulb went in there less than an hour after the OP posted, not sure how much more helpful i could be!!! ...any more hand holding needed?!

NEO3 does that mean the 3 is a 3mm size? if so you could have simply said 3mm rather then being an ass. Not every person knows about every aspect of cars HENCE why they ask questions and when you're unsure you ask to learn which down the road helps others with a simple detailed answer.

Had someone actually not pm'd me and said the neon was the 3mm size id still be wondering.

I answered your 3, 4 or 5 size question 48 minutes before you even asked it...I'm that good. I then answered your question a second time with a link, with the correct size mind you, to the bulb family. You cannot directly link to the size of the bulbs, just the specific bulb family. YOU have to select the size that I stated twice.

This shouldn't be this difficult!!

All you had to do was click on the 3 and the PN: "neo3" would have popped up. If still in doubt, if you would have just checked your shopping cart, you would have seen "neo3" listed at the bulb pn.

I gave you a simple, detailed answer. I gave you a direct link to the bulb family and the size, neo3!! Besides actually ordering the bulbs for you, I don't know what more I could have done for you and others here!!

I get the feeling anything that have to do with lights or bulbs is a :vader: waiting to happen. I didn't know what a neo3 meant either. Maybe neo 3mm? I'm just:roadkill:

well, OP got exactly what he needed from my initial post, so it cant be that confusing.

some people cant even eat when you spoon feed them...several times over...!!

google "neo3 bulb" and your answer is the very first link!! cmon people, the interwebs is not that hard!!

I love his assumption that the OP understood the message consider he or she hasn't responded since starting the thread.

Chomp I guess me and you are the stupid ones compared to the almighty denver dick to assume that neo3 is actually a 3mm bulb.

Its like arguing with a women even tho you show the proof and say you did that but need little more clarification its still wrong.

Tho i will give the guy, kid, what ever Yosh might be since i wouldn't want to assume hell he might be a women he does good work on swapping out LEDS of the cluster cause from the looks of it what a nightmare that would be

Appreciate the question being asked and answered here.

Most helpful BlackAckCL to see the photo showing the DAC switch should

illuminate whenever the headlight switch is on, and not just when the DAC

switch is engaged.

It is a bit confusing shopping for LED's without previous experience, it's

called a T-1 but actually 3mm.

I see I need to update my signature as the 3rd Gen is gone and newer to me is a 4th gen 06 V8.
