I'm in rural Western Ky and all the shops I've come across are just the standard jack of all trades performance shops with most being just wheels/tires being installed by teenager sourced from the local Vo-Tech school making slightly above minimum wage. Those shops have their place but when looking for a bit more service I just can't seem to find what I'm after.
The big turn off for me is when I bring up switching to 285s and potentially needing a BMC a blank look appears on their face indicating I should probably look elsewhere for a knowledgeable shop. I'm sure they are out there but when interacting with other T4R/Taco owners who've had work done they end up having it performed by these shops.
Is there a list/database/forum thread where there's a good size list of reputable shops for given areas or regions?
