Is This a Wonky Radiator?

I bought this Denso radiator off of ebay and as I was looking at it I realized.. the whole damn thing is crooked. Is this right or do I need to exchange this. You can see in the pics that the whole thing slants.

Doesn't look right to me, but I haven't pulled my radiator yet.

Fill it full of V8 juice and see what happens.

I guess it looks a bit canted, but hard to tell in a picture....I just installed a Denso radiator and it fit perfect.

was yours square? Im pretty sure this one is messed up. I just wanted to make sure that these arent designed like this

Should be perfectly square, not sure what happened to that one, but it isn't right.

HA!.. Don't put that in your rig. That one goes back to Ebay seller or shipping insurance steps in, or something. But that one is messed up. Take some measurements, get out the level, but it is off for sure by that pic.

Just put my Denso in from amazon a few weeks ago. Mine was not like that either, but my mounting bracket bolts were a little loose when I got it FYI.

Perhaps the radiator has self-image issues. Maybe thinks if it's going to be cool — it can't be a total square.

Might want to check it for tattoos and run a drug test as well...

Ebay huh? You sure it's a DENSO right? Doesn't have "DESNO" or "DENZO" stamped on it does it?

This is definitely wonky, yes. I would return it. It may be perfectly fine that way, but there's no telling if a weld or passageway has been cracked. A nice pink milkshake would be a bad way to find out.

There is no way you can get pink milkshake (due to leaky trans cooler line) The whole thing is slightly slanted to one side but this will not effect the trans cooler mounted to the bottom tank.

Returning it back to the seller going to cost you a bit. You have to pay shipping. Try to get some refund from the seller to make you feel happy. But before that do a pressure test. Put a radiator cap and close the inlet and apply some air pressure into the outlet. You can simply blow into the output line.

I installed a denso radiator about 3 weeks ago and it is working great. Also the denso radiators have 1.25 inch core thickness which makes the cooling process better.

How do you know this? I assumed the trans fluid is running through the cores similarly to the coolant.

This should not cost him anything, the seller shipped a defective item. This is the responsibility of the seller, and if they refuse to provide good customer service then he can contact Ebay/PayPal and file a dispute. If all else fails he can attempt a chargeback with his card company. This is absolutely returnable under any reputable seller's returns policy.
