Don't have experience with it but definitely the way to go if you wheel hard and want to run big tires.

Huge thread on Tacoma World covering this setup. It's good, reputable company. I have a buddy running it on his Tacoma and he loves it. Not for everyone as it involves major modifications to the truck.

Edit/sidenote: The 2nd gen (and 3rd gen for that matter) front suspension is pretty much identical to the 4th gen 4Runner. So most everything in that thread will apply to the 4Runner with maybe some minor differences.
