Jeep EJS concepts for 2016

I'd buy a Shortcut right now. Like the M-715, but I like the gray 2-door Kaiser they did a while back better. Having owned an MJ, I'm pissed they didn't base it off of the JK. Instead they put it on a Renegade chassis!? Wtf... It's supposed to be a truck. Fkn fiat.

I like the Shortcut. So simple and would be a blast to drive.

Slightly off topic, but I can't imagine ever going to Moab for EJS. I've been to Moab three times for wheeling and plan on going more, and enjoy getting away from crowds and hassles while on vacation. I get the whole community and Jeep camaraderie thing, but why do people want to go there during EJS so they can wait in long lines for gas, food, groceries, trails, etc. and pay double for a hotel? I was reading the millionth article about the Jeep concepts for this years EJS and realized this thing must be like an auto show in the desert. Every journalist remotely connected to the automotive world must be there getting their 5 minute drive in all the concept Jeeps. Maybe I'm missing the whole point.

I don't get it either. I might go one day just to see what it's about, but I'm in no hurry.
