Just got a mint 85 4Runner for super cheap

Saw this beauty today for $1.00 and couldn't pass it up.

The chrome interior is going to be a ***** to keep clean.

Articulation isn't that great but I had a lot of fun taking it out!

Went back to the dollar store and didn't see any other 4runners. Oh well.

Went there in the first place just for this, so that's ok.

I'm still waiting for the 2nd-Gens and X-Cab and Crew Cab Hilux and Tacoma's to come out.

Wife works in retail, former manager, I did too as a divisional manager, maybe it's time I talk to some of those collectors i used to tolerate and ask they return the kindness and find me some.

Bringing back memories, boys!

I'm 53 years old and the first Toyota I bought was an '85 SR5 Extra Cab 4x4. I test drove the 4runner, which had come out the year before, before deciding on the truck.

Now, almost 30 years later, I've come full circle and bought the 'runner - after test driving every Toyota 4x4, of course!
