Latest, greatest high beam LED

What is the current high beam replacement LED for improved lighting? I did a search but with the new forum software got many pages with little or no info. I suppose it is buried in there but don't want or have enough time to dig through all of this.

I disabled the DRLs and run the Morimoto 9005 LEDs. You can add the anti-flicker harness and keep the DRLs but from what I understand they are still pretty bright during the day. They are a huge improvement and what I feel are the top quality bulb available. I also run the same brand but the H11s for lows and the xB Fog assemblies.

I have their HID low beams and LED High. They work with DRL and no flicker I can tell at all.

Whats with this flicker... I will let someone school me on this.

Because the DRL uses the high beam but a lower voltage most LEDs cant and they flicker?

So.... Just dont use the DRL?

Haha, check out my comment on the awesome "lighting thread" from a few days ago with this exact same sentiment. In the end the xenon depot rep responded and said to send him/her a PM. This is exactly what I plan to do as I agree, so much to absorb. I love the do it yourself ethos, but some of us get to a point where we don't mind talking to a salesman as time becomes a precious resource.

Yep that's pretty much it. That's why I disabled my DRLs so I could leave my switch in Auto.

the ddm tuning 50w saber pros are super bright. you will get a flicker w/ DRL, but i just turn my lights off in situations where people will find it annoying (i.e. traffic)
