Leveling Kit 2004 T4R

I am wanting to Level out my 2004 sport T4R. I would like to be able to fit 265/70/17 or 265/75/17 tires. Any suggestions on type of lift or leveling kit. Don't really want to break the bank, but want a quality spacer or kit. Does anyone have any experience with the billet kits that are sold on bay?
also, what leveling kit actually levels out 3/1 or 3/2? I don't really know about these.

Most here go with a 2.5/1.5 or a 3/2 lift (numbers are front/rear). The Daystar 2.5/1.5 is a popular kit and the most budget friendly. It does the job for a spacer lift. My suggestion is to try to find a set of OEM springs off a FJ Cruiser. These provide a little lift and also improve the ride. You should be able to find a used set for a reasonable price, and it's well worth it. These combined with the Daystar 2.5/1.5 should result in a 3/2 (+ or - .25) lift. Do you have a v6 or v8, and is it 4wd?

FJ springs will provide almost an inch of lift in the front for you then. You need to stay at 3" or under to be safe. The FJ springs and Daystar 2.5/1.5 may be a little much. I believe you may be able to buy separate spacers to make a kit for a reasonable price that will end up at ~3/2 if you are interested in using the FJ springs. If so, let me know and I'll see what I can dig up.

Otherwise, just the Daystar 2.5/1.5 or a Cornfed 3/2 lift are the common choices. Toytec also offers several options as well. They range from spacer lifts to coil spring lifts, and some in between. Toytec also offers discounts for members of this site.

if you're just leveling and want cheap, go with the ebay kit. I have one and it's been fine. Just look at the thread in my signature. It's an easy install in the driveway in about 45 minutes and works great. The 2" kit is what I purchased. Don't forget the alignment.

You can fit a 265/70/17 with it. My tires are VERY square too. Look at my tire thread.

yes. It really depends on if you want the lift or to level the truck. With the lift you'll probably fit a 265/75/17

As far as I know, a leveling kit is to get rid of the rake the trucks come with when they're stock (higher back, lower front, kind of diagonal look) so the leveling kit will level this out

leveling kits will also lift the truck, depending on the set you go for.
